Hello Entropians,
after my last HowTo about Space Repair Skilling .
Now i will give you a small analysis with data about the necessary effort, to reach a special point by using the “space repair skilling”.
So the first, i analyzed the skill gain meassured in Ped-TT on ESI base.
To get this value i just counted my skills before i started with a full-TT tool and after.
This data i placed here , to see how many Ped-TT ESI i got.

A RK-5 need exactly 50768 welding wire.

cost of a set RK-20 + 100k welding wire = 36 ped (MU included)
A RK-20 need exactly 104192 welding wire , i broke 3 down and all times i got out i used exactly this amount.
skill/ped = 3.45/36 = ~0.0958
The Rk-5 in Non-SIB is, depending on the price you pay for equipment, up to 60% more efficient then a RK-20 during SIB !!
With another chipping-tool, i calculated the skills you need to unlock the “Blueprint Comprehension” skill on level 10 in the “Vehicle Structural Engineer” profession.
It is estimated by 17 ped TTvalue in skills (ESI-estimation).
This equals, depending on your intelligence roughly on 8 x RK-5 tools full TT which you need to burn on repairing.
I don’t know how many skills in Engineering are neccessary to finish “mentoring” , so i cant give you any calculations about this. But most people i asked said around 25 x RK-5 Full TT are needed.
For level 100 was pretty difficult to get data which are close to reality.
The chipping optimizer tool went a bit mad.
So i could figure out , that with the right % spread on the different skills is a estimated ESI in Skills by
21000 Ped.
This skills are spread out on ALL depending skill “scientist included”.
If you would use only RK-5 tools it would take you roughly 7250 RK-5 tools to gain level 100.
7250 * 3.2 hours (per tool in perma use) => 23200 hours.
If you would space repair 12 hours per day you could do it in 1933 days or around 5.3 years………….
21000 ped / 2.90 ped (ESI per tool) = 7241.37
!!! This is a approximated value !!!
